Ringa
Heyo interwebs, I'm Ringa! I'm Pittsburgh borned and raised, and a creative of all sorts. I own two creative businesses (a handmade arts shop and an at-home bakery) two cats (Byron and Bennie) and I've been a vegetarian since 1995! I don't currently follow a strict religion, but I was Pagan for quite a while and still adhere by some of its principles. Always a writer, sometimes doing the writing. I'm a demi-pansexual who is currently in-between gender definitions, but she, her, they, you, all that's good for pronouns. I pride myself in being active in the local and virtual activism scenes, and you can often find me at a rally or protest, or arguing with someone's racist family on facebook. I'm a huge advocate for all minorities and those who don't fit into the cis white male able cookie cutter. I've been working on my own depression and anxiety issues for many years now, and I highly encourage therapy in any form for everybody!
About
Tinned Pineapple
Tinned Pineapple is my artsy-crafty business. I am often creating and vending with my long-time friend and partner in crime, Althea, but I deal with the maintenance and booking of things for us and consider it a full-time job. We love using upcycling in our work and are constantly trying to find things to make into other things. Along with that, our creations are largely pop culture in theme. We vend mostly at comic cons and other large themed events, and we're convinced that everyone will find something they love among our products. In addition to pop culture everything, I make sure to carry a constantly expanding supply of pride, feminism, pro-environment, and liberal-themed buttons. We've been experimenting with some fun new items lately, and we can't wait to introduce new goodies to the world!
